Josh is an experienced educator with more than 20 years of teaching and school leadership experience in Washington, DC and New York. He has taught middle and high school mathematics and science, including specialized programs for students with learning differences. After more than a decade as a principal and Head of School, Joshua returned to the classroom because of his passion for working directly with students.
Josh holds an MA in Educational Leadership and BA in Politics from New York University and has extensive experience helping students build confidence in math and science through engaging, inquiry-based instruction. He believes every student can succeed with the right combination of high expectations, encouragement, and individualized support.
Outside of teaching, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and three kids, traveling, reading, and exploring Washington, DC.
