Camille was born and raised in Paris, France. She earned an M.A. in French History from the Sorbonne University and a Ph.D. in Modern French History from Columbia University in New York City. Most recently, she received a new teaching certification through the innovative Multi-State Pathways to Teaching French program, funded by the French Embassy in the United States.
Camille has a strong background in teaching French and social studies at the college, middle school, and high school levels. She has extensive experience working with students of all ages and proficiency levels, from French 1 through AP and IB French. She develops personalized lessons tailored to each student’s goals, maximizing participation while helping them build confidence, strengthen their language skills, and achieve academic success.
Building meaningful connections with her students and supporting their diverse learning styles are at the heart of Camille’s teaching philosophy. By incorporating the latest educational technology and proven second-language acquisition strategies, she makes learning French engaging, accessible, and enjoyable for every student.
