Ben is a special education teacher with Montgomery County Public Schools and has over a decade of experience in education. He is known for maintaining high expectations for his students while fostering a supportive, flexible learning environment grounded in a growth mindset.
Originally from Utah, Ben earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Westminster University and a Master of Education degree from the University of Utah. He is also a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), bringing specialized expertise in supporting diverse learning needs.
Ben works primarily with elementary-aged students in reading, writing, and mathematics. He is passionate about helping students build confidence, develop essential skills, and achieve their academic goals. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, including biking, hiking, traveling, and playing soccer.
