Monica has taught K-5 special education in Washington, D.C. for 11 years. She is a certified Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner, reading specialist, and holds a Master of Education in special education with a concentration in dyslexia. Monica completed her graduate and undergraduate studies at the University of Florida. Outside of teaching, Monica enjoys spending time outdoors with her dog.
