Galen is in his third year of teaching high school social studies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from the University of Oregon in his hometown of Eugene, and a Master’s in Teaching from Duke University.
As a teacher, Galen fosters critical thinking, reading, and writing skills, and encourages a passion for lifelong learning. Outside of school, Galen enjoys coffee, exploring DC-area restaurants, and global travel.
