Allison L. is originally from New York and graduated from Oberlin College in May 2024 with a major in biochemistry and minors in politics and Jewish studies. Passionate about STEM education, Allison loves working with students to spark their curiosity, deepen their understanding, and inspire them to explore the world around them. At Oberlin, she served as a peer and group mentor for organic and analytical chemistry courses, an experience that ignited her enthusiasm for science education—something she is excited to continue through tutoring. In addition to subject-specific support, Allison has experience working one-on-one with students to develop strong study habits, improve time management, and discover personalized learning strategies.
Outside of work, Allison enjoys playing ultimate frisbee, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, and spending time outdoors.
